Some new cars for 2012 will be worth the waiting if you're planning to purchase a new car. For example, the Toyota FT-86 Sports Car will catch a lot of peoples attention. The car is light and will use 2.0-liter engine, with a horsepower of 200. It will be rear wheel drive and expect a price to be about $20,000.

Another car that people will be looking at is the 2012 ZL1 Camaro. What can go wrong with a Camaro? Its sleek, fierce and jaw dropping. It will be powered by the Cadillac CTS-V's 6.2-liter V with 550 horsepower engine. The expected price is around the range of $42,000.

If you're into small, compact cars, then Ford is coming out with a Ford Focus ST. It will be a 2.0-liter engine with 160 horsepower. Not only that but if you want to purchase the six speed, it will come with EcoBoost 2.0-liter engine, which gets around 250 horsepower. The price will be at least $25,000 for this vehicle.

Another compact car that is coming out in 2012 is the Pruis C by Toyota. It's small, sporty, and eco-friendly. It is not going to be a plug in car like some of the others and Toyota promised that this will be the one of the best hybrids on the market, which will save you tons of money on gas.

Mini is releasing a new compact car as well, named The Mini Paceman. It is a two-door coupe with more horsepower than the Mini Cooper. It will top about 300 horsepower.

On the more sporty end, Mitsubishi Evo XI will be released with a brand-new electric and gas-electric hybrids. Their idea is to keep it high-performance and keep it all wheel drive. The Evo XI is going to become larger and redefined making it rivals with Audi.

If you're willing to wait towards the end of 2012, Corvette is coming out with a new Corvette C7. It delivers like a Ferrari and the look like a Corvette. It looks amazingly sleek, stunning and the handling is unbelievable, like always. This car will push out 400 to 450 horsepower. General Motors says they are taking off some weight of the car and will bring up the fuel economy, which sounds great. They are targeting the price to be around $50,000.

BMW i3 Electric City Car will also be released in 2012. It will have a horsepower of 150 and the price will be approximately $35,000. A cool feature in this car is wireless charging. But you have to be within 99 miles of the charging unit, which isn't that bad. They are currently working on a magnetic field charging system. That means you can park at a magnetic field and charge your car without any wires.

Trucks

New trucks will be arriving in 2012 as well, like the Cadillac Escalade EXT. The engine will be 6.2-liter with 403 horsepower. Getting about 13 miles per gallon in the city and 18 on the highway. The price will range around $63,000.

Not only that but the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado will come out. They will have many changes in this truck like the revised front end designs, heated or cooled seats for comfort. Also it will be revised to increase performance.

There will be a lot of new cars for 2012 that will be exciting to look for. Nowadays most of the cars are 'going green.' That is good for the environment and your pockets. Not only that but the design is getting more futuristic.
